Enrollment & Tours

 

Apply TO THE EARLY LEARNING CENTER for 2026-27 

Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child at the Early Learning Center! We are now accepting ELC Lottery Applications for the 2026-27 school year. Our application will be available until January 7th, 2026. We welcome families interested in enrolling in ELC to join us on an upcoming tour. Tours will be offered at our Oak Knoll and Laurel ELC campuses.

Lottery Timeline 

  • November 1st, 2025 - Applications available on ELC website
  • January 7th, 2026 - Applications due by midnight
  • January 21st, 2026 - ELC informs families if a space is available
  • January 28th, 2026 - Families confirm enrollment with non-refundable deposit 
  • Any spaces available after the lottery will be offered on a first-come, first-served rolling basis with continued attention to enrollment priorities 

Eligibility Requirements

  • Two Year Old Program: Children must be 2 years old by their first day of enrollment.
  • Preschool Program: Children must be 3 years old by December 1st, 2026

Enrollment Priorities

  • Priority 1 – Current and former ELC students and their siblings

  • Priority 2 - MPCSD Siblings  (consideration for placement at Oak Knoll or Laurel will be made if applicant has a sibling at one of those schools)

  • Priority 3 - MPCSD non-sibling residents 

  • Priority 3 - MPCSD Staff 

  • Priority 4 - Children who live outside of the MPCSD boundaries

  • Priority 5- Children whose families apply after January 7, 2026​​​​​

Tuition Assistance Priorities

  1. Current and former ELC students and their siblings

  2. District residents and Tinsley eligible English Learners with siblings in MPCSD 

  3. District residents and Tinsley eligible students with siblings in MPCSD 

  4. Children of MPCSD Staff

  5. Tinsley eligible English learners with intention to attend MPCSD (non-siblings)

  6. All Tinsley eligible students with intention to attend MPCSD
