ELC educators are required to have following minimum requirements:
- Lead Teacher: Bachelor's Degree and 24 units in Early Childhood Education or Associate's Degree, 24 units in ECE and working towards a Bachelor's Degree in an accredited institution
- Assistant Teacher: Associate's Degree and 12 units in Early Childhood Education
- Preschool Aide: 12 units in Early Childhood Education
